Christa's Ranch

From Book Two - The Glasgow Gray

Nestled in a valley in the mountains of northern Quebec, the hundreds-acre ranch used to be a logging operation. The land has been in former Canadian Sniper Christa Boucher's family for four generations, and she lives there with her German shepherd partner Sholto (aka Gunny), also a retired soldier. Christa trains dogs at the ranch with her good friend Hamish Walker.

Theo Mufamadi's Game Preserve

From Book Three - Let Slip the Pups of War

Covering more than a hundred thousand hectares, the massive game preserve is owned by Theo's uncle, the Zulu King. The ranch is mostly staffed by Mufamadis, who passionately protect and care for the exotic animals, which include the big five; lions, rhinos, elephants, Cape buffalo, and leopard. There's even a pack of painted wild dogs, who have an interesting encounter with Spot and Smudge.

The National Mall
